Objectives
The primary objective of this project is to craft an immersive digital exhibition space titled "A Relentless Pursuit." This platform will serve as a testament to DSO's 50 years of dedicated research and development efforts in defense and technology domains. The website aims to achieve the following key goals:
- Commemoration: Create a captivating digital space that pays tribute to DSO's remarkable legacy, highlighting its evolution from a humble three-person team in 1972 to a leading defense R&D organization.
- Education: Provide a comprehensive view of DSO's multifaceted functions and contributions over the years, educating the public about its critical role in Singapore's defense and technological advancement.
- Engagement: Offer an interactive journey through six distinct chapters, each illustrating a core aspect of DSO's work. These chapters will showcase the organization's growth, technological advancements, and collaborative efforts.
- Immersion: Immerse visitors in a captivating narrative experience, utilizing a myriad of interactive elements to facilitate a seamless and engaging exploration of DSO's journey.
- Accessibility: Ensure the website is accessible to a wide range of audiences, making it easy for both tech-savvy individuals and those less familiar with digital platforms to engage with and appreciate DSO's accomplishments.
By achieving these objectives, the project aims to create a digital exhibition space that not only celebrates DSO's rich history but also fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of their vital contributions to Singapore's defense and technological landscape. The website launch will coincide with DSO's Golden Jubilee dinner, marking a significant moment in the organization's history.
